Specifications & FAQ
Hikvision equipment specifications (official hikvision.com data)
What does Proactive Defence add?
A Hikvision AX HYBRID PRO alarm panel (DS-PHA64-LP(B), 64 zones, 433 MHz) with an LCD keypad, a loud wired siren box with its own wiring, and HJ's alarm + CCTV integration setup. There are no PIR or door-contact detectors in this package – the cameras' human detection is the sensor.
How are the alarm and cameras integrated?
The AcuSense DVR's Motion Detection 2.0 classifies people on every channel. HJ configures it so a detected person triggers the camera siren & strobe and sets off the alarm panel's loud siren box, with push alerts and arm / disarm in the Hik-Connect app. Hikvision links cameras, recorders and security control panels through its device linkage (Hik-Partner Pro), and the panel also has 8 wired zones for detectors.
Is the alarm panel wired or wireless?
The panel and keypad are wired, and the panel has LAN + Wi-Fi for the app. It takes up to 64 zones – 8 wired on-board plus 56 wired or wireless (433 MHz) – so PIR detectors, door contacts, keyfobs and extra sounders can be added later.
Does the price include everything?
Yes. Cameras, DVR, hard disk, power supply, connectors, RG59 cabling, the alarm panel with keypad, the siren box and its wiring, installation, app setup and the alarm + CCTV integration are all included. The panel's 12 V 7 Ah backup battery is not included and can be added.
Can I add detectors later?
Yes. PIR detectors, door contacts, keyfobs, extra keypads and sounders can be added to the panel's spare zones – quoted separately.
